A americana Arcelia Gallardo, proprietária da marca Mission trabalha com chocolate há 17 anos. É uma das pessoas mais especializadas na fabricação de chocolates “bean to bar”. Arcelia é experiente, já teve loja de chocolates em S. Francisco e já viajou por cerca de 23 países para estudar sobre chocolates e sobre o cacau, visitando desde as boutiques de chocolates de Paris até as comunidades produtoras do Amazonas. A sua marca Mission já recebeu cerca de 27 premiações, com destaque para a linha de Biomas, feitas com cacau do Amazonas.
Arcelia é presidente da Associação Bean to Bar do Brasil, co- presidente do Good Food Awards em São Francisco, California, e júri do NorthWest Chocolate Festival Awards em Seattle, Washington.
 
American Arcelia Gallardo, owner of the Mission brand, has been working with chocolate for 17 years. She is one of the most specialized people in making bean-to-bar chocolates. Arcelia is an experienced chocolate maker who has owned a chocolate store in San Francisco and has traveled to 23 countries to study chocolates and cocoa, visiting everything from boutique chocolatiers in Paris to producer communities in the Amazon. Her Mission brand has won around 27 awards, most notably the Biomas range, made with cocoa from the Amazon.
Arcelia is president of the Bean to Bar Association of Brazil, co-chair of the Good Food Awards in San Francisco, California, and jury member of the NorthWest Chocolate Festival Awards in Seattle, Washington.
